Ceremony Information
In order to better orchestrate your wedding and to allow you the opportune time for your wedding ceremony, the Hyatt Regency Jersey City has the following start times: 11:00am and 5:00pm.

Confirmation of Space and Deposits
An initial non-refundable deposit of thirty percent (30%) of estimated charges is required to confirm your date along with a signed contract.
 
 
Menu Tasting
The Hyatt Regency Jersey City offers a complimentary menu tasting approximately three (3) months prior to your event date. You may have up to two (2) guests attend the tasting complimentary. Your wedding coordinator will be present to discuss all details regarding your wedding.
 
Menu tastings are offered on one Sunday a month at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm. These dates are based on availability.
 
Guest Accommodations
A room block may be set up for guests attending your event at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City. Check -in time is 4:00pm, and check-out time is 12 noon. If you would like to set up a block of rooms, a minimum of ten (10) guest rooms must be guaranteed or the prevailing hotel rate will be offered. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed and is based on hotel availability and discretion.

 
 
Final Payment
Final payment in the form of a cashier’s check, money order, check, credit card or cash is due at least ten (10) business days prior to the wedding date. A refundable 10% overage deposit will be collected with the final payment to cover charges and/or incidental charges incurred during and following the wedding.

Guarantee
A final guarantee is due by 11:00AM, three (3) business days prior to your event. Once received, this number may not be reduced. We will be prepared to serve 3% over the guaranteed number.

Security
Hyatt Regency Jersey City will not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left on the premises prior to or following your ceremony or reception. Should you wish to hire security services, suggestions are available through your Event Sales Manager. Please ensure someone from your wedding party secures any gifts left at your wedding. The hotel will not be responsible for gift removal. This includes all vendor equipment on property.
